Charles Wilhite’s Family Holds Candlelight Vigil To Commemorate 1,000 Days Of Wrongful Incarceration

June 13, 2012 marks 1,000 days that Charles Wilhite has been wrongly imprisoned for a murder in which he took no part. Coincidentally it is also 30-days since Hampden Superior Court Judge Peter Velis ruled that “at trial, there was no physical evidence directly linking the defendant [Wilhite] to the shooting,” thereby granting Wilhite a new trial.
