Flavours, a restaurant specializing in Asian cuisine in downtown Pittsfield, is pledging 60% of all dollars generated on Monday evening, December 5 to help the Berkshire Immigrant Center overcome unexpected cuts in federal funding.
The special holiday buffet is $25 per person and features a taste of Asia including selections from Malay
sia, Indian , Eurasian , Chinese , Nyonya and Borneo . Malaysian born owner, Sabrina Tan is well known within the Berkshires for her culinary excellence and has had the privilege of serving many world famous celebrities.
Diners will also find a variety of interesting items for bid at a silent auction throughout the evening. Reservations are encouraged for the seatings at 5:30 and 7 PM and may be made by calling 443-3188. Flavours is located at 75 North Street with an entrance along McKay Street.
The December 5 event is part of the “Restaurant Nights” series at various ethnic restaurants in the County in support of the Berkshire Immigrant Center. The series also supports the Governor’s recent Immigrant Entrepreneurship proclamation that showcases the importance and contributions of immigrant owned and operated businesses in the Commonwealth.
Future events include a pizza night throughout the county in January and dinner at Xicohtencatl Mexican Restaurant in Great Barrington on Thursday, February 9.
